Jess + Xav Laid-back Country Celebration
The second time I have been lucky enough to capture a Wishart Wedding...and those Wishies sure do know how to throw a party! Jess and Xav's wedding wasn't quite what they had planned....but what was in 2020? The couple decided to host their laidback celebration in Jess's parents backyard on a deck built by the groom for the special occasion. It was a very hot (which is pretty rare here) summer afternoon full of laughs, epic dance moves and magical lighting.
Lauren + James Modern Fairytale Mona Wedding
I was super excited to capture Lauren and James "fairytale ending" (or beginning!) at Mona on a hot summers day in Hobart. These love birds had quite the journey to the alter and I couldn't help but get a bit teary putting their love story together. Wedding videography sparks so much joy for me it hardly feels like a "job"!
Charlotte + Allan A Stunning Stanley Wedding
Filming my good friends Charlotte and Allan's wedding in picturesque Stanley, Tasmania was an absolute dream. Everything has been meticulously planned and there were so many beautiful fine details to capture. Being a videographer who gets to craft something beautiful out of peoples memories is truely an honour.
Aydon + Zainab Christmas Eve Elopement
Being a part of this very special surprise was loads of fun. A light hearted wedding ceremony followed by an intimate family lunch on Christmas Eve was a reflection on the couples easy going nature. Even though most of the guests had clued on before the beautiful bride arrived it was a seriously cool way to tie the knot. Love stories like this make my job as a wedding videographer so much fun!
Meg + Seb Summers afternoon Dunalley Wedding
This wedding video is particularly special to me. Meg and Seb are close friends of mine and I was so honoured when they asked if I would mind picking up my camera between drinks at their beautiful casual summers afternoon wedding in Dunalley, Tasmania. It's not as perfect as they are but I definitely shed a few tears putting together their love story and was a smidge proud watching the groom tear up upon delivery... As a wedding videographer there are a few moments through the process that I just adore, I love capturing the grooms face the moment he sees his beautiful bride for the first time, those little moments where the love between a couple is almost physically tangible, people having the best time dancing and then there is the pure joy of seeing how happy the couple are when they receive their wedding videography package presented in a beautiful keepsake box. It really does light me up filming happy people.
